Im trying to resize an impact vehicle outline in illustartor by 2000% but it keeps "cant scale the objects.the requesed transformation would make some objects fall completely off the drawing area."
does anybody know how to do this
    thanks

Why do you need to scale the template in illustrator? You can just output to your printer/cutter software/Rip and scale to 2000%

I can’t really help as I rarely use ai CS, could it be page size / desktop / workspace size not letting it scale up?

Lee, full scale is always easier to quote from, and saves any errors (like not scaling when sending to rip!) later.

Illustrator can be frustrating. i normally just scale the graphics up not the template and even on larger vans keeps the artwork within the perimeter

Just select the artwork not the vehicle u want to scale bunch it up a bit to middle of page and scale up 2000% works every time, won’t scale up the actual vehicle (unless something like a smart car lol) as to long, hope this helps, we do it this way every time

Change view in Illustrator to outlines, press CTRL-A, zoom out and have a look to see if there are any rogue points preventing the enlargement. Sometimes you’ll get a semi-deleted point from a ruler of path sitting on the edge of artboard preventing the scaling.
