    Hi everyone,

Been on here a few times trying to decide wether or not to upgrade to a top brand machine from my creation pcut. I recently purchased a second hand but unused Graphtec CE-5000, not had much chance to use it yet but even then I noticed the difference straight away. Can’t believe the quality it can cut small text and that’s without trying the tangential emulation feature. I took delivery of a couple of smart blades from Edward Mathias as I’ve heard lots of good things about this. Got a few vinyl jobs next week so will comment on this post when done. Thought I would try and help anyone stuck in two minds as I was.

Thanks for the replies. Yes it seems to be a good choice so far, the output is far smoother around curves, cuts small text with ease. I had it cutting 1mm text on clothing vinyl the other day to see what it was capable of, couldn’t believe the results.

I am trying to build the vinyl side of the business up at the moment, completed my first half wrap last week on a Sambar van, starting a full wrap on a Mercedes Sprinter next week (the one with the horrible recesses) so it’s going well.
