Ive done it again ,
What -well after logging on I started to type a reply to Eddies post during which time I was summond by the boss for dinner.Finished eating I returned to complete the message which with my typing skills had taken me forever , pressed the submit button and away goes the message into cyberspace never to be seen again ,why?
During my dinner the computer had dropped the internet connection and I hadnt ticked the little box at log on so though my computer automatically reconnected to the web -i was not reconnected to the signboards
This must be the fifth time its happenedI must remember to tick that box

its happend to me often mate…
if i type somthing long now i tend to right click every so often and copy just incase… i think its the thing “times out” when the connection is lost mate…there is somothing else that happens like this… ive typed a whole load of stuff in the past… i hit submit and as i waite on it posting, i notice one of my famous spelling mistakes so i quickly hit “Esc” to try prevent the post going.. it deletes the lot and is unratreavable…. 😡 😡 😡

Terry dont worry mate you are not alone, I have all sorts of problems with the net. When I first joined live chat on a thursday I used to type my name before every post because I thought you had to. The other ******** in chat let me go on doing that for about 3 weeks before someone told me that your name came up automatically so my name was appearing twice.
Sometimes when I make a post it doesnt seem to show up, I have posted it again and all of a sudden there are two posts the same on the board. Good job Robert goes round deleting stuff. -

I think thats why they tolerate me on the boards Phill, I know sod all about signs or design work but I give everybody a good laugh !!

there is more than the odd tip i have learned from you myself matenot to mention putting me in second place somtimes with the odd
sign related argument “sorry discussion 😆 ” on these boards with you coming out on top… 😕 😉 -
No need to say sorry Robert, if I made a few people laugh it was worth all the humilliation !! The truth is because I couldnt see my name I thought none of you would be able to see it and would wonder who the mysterious person was. Because I typed my name in before each post I could see my name the same as I could see everybody elses !! Little did I know that you were all seeing it twice.
