well i think you guys deserve a big THANKS after the fiasco with amtrack losing my digi print.
As was said before its the service thats is the winner and its cool that you didnt even sniff at running another print off at 3 in the afternoon to get to me the day after

the customer was over the moon, and the job went well in the end !!

although he now has two prints for the price of one…but he is happy

take a look at the pic of the brit bulldog roof in the gallery

sounds like the guys at racoon are doing there job very well paul.
ive yet to use them but have spoke on the phone with them. very helpful and competitive with regards to pricing.

what some should remember when looking for wide format printing is what “dpi” you are getting. and where is it going to veiwed from… upclose or far away. the closer you are the higher the rez should be.
racoon do a great quality print for close inspection…

    well done racoon,
by the way i have been given the nodd on the prices submitted to my customer for the digi print job on 10 sprinter wraps. but still waiting on the go ahead…
ill call you when i do.. ๐Ÿ˜‰

hi robert, i was wondering about that quote for 10 sprinters!

Tell me, how do you get any work done, you always seem to be on this site?

Regarding Amtrak, and courier companies. As we send out work across the country we have no alternative but to use courier companies. If I could, I would deliver everything by nad, but impossible. We have used Amtrak for the last 2 years, and I would rate then at about 8 out of 10. If anyone can receommend another courier company I would like to here from them. I have already tried Interlink, Concorde and Initial Express.

P.S. We have just installed a third Arizona printer, so our service is getting even better (and my overdraft bigger!!)

    Hi Richard
Good to see you back on the boards mate.
The guy with the ten vansโ€ฆ
He still is definitely getting the job done. And we are definitely getting the work.
Heโ€™s been with us for many years and we grown to have a very good customer relationship with him.
The hold up on the work I think is, he has to have them all stripped and resprayed. But having them taken off the road has been a problem for him because he is very busy. He planned to do it through Christmas but didnโ€™t manage.
Being extremely busy ourselves we havenโ€™t chased him for it. Simply on the grounds of we know when it gets done its ours. I have shopped around for any more prices on the printing because I was happy with your quote and the high standard of printing you could provide.
As soon as he gets back to us ill give you a call and sort artwork out for youโ€ฆ

as for getting any work done because of the site… well “i dont” ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† no i actualy look in on it each day at work when i can, morning then afternoon if possible.. but i do have 3 set nights for working in the back ground with group buying issues and now the online shop.. the wife keeps telling me one day ill snap and end up in a home for the mental… ๐Ÿ˜ฎ i agreed! but that will be because of her.. but dont tell her i said it ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

Courier deliveries are very much dependent on the efficiency of the local depots. Get a bad one and you may as well write them off because it’s unlikely to change overnight (no pun intended!). I have done a fair bit of white vanning and worked on a freelance basis for a number of companies, some of whom you mention. Sometimes you’d wonder how any of the stuff gets to it’s destination on time and intact.

FRAGILE means nothing, believe me it’s like the entrance sign to the road you live in. You never see it…….Couriers never see the word FRAGILE either because it’s overused!

I’d say shop around use more than one company. The best will shine and after a few consignments you’ll have abetter idea of who to trust the bulk of your business with.

It has nothing to do with company names. There all as good or bad as one another.
