  • Supplier for Table Signs?

Posted by Rebecca on April 3, 2003 at 7:30 pm

We have been asked to quote for some signs that need to be attached to the front of trestle tables.

Does anybody have any ideas or know of any suppliers who sell fixings that would be suitable, the signs need to be approx 2.5 to 3 feet long.

    Thanks for any help

Maybe a couple of hooks attached to front of table, than just hang a banner or foamex panels to them

…if it’s temporary then maybe strips of self-adhesive velcro would do?…or as Simon says perhaps some hooks etc…

If it’s a point upon which the whole order depends then give us all the details (type of sign, weight, location of the table/sign/ durability, etc.) and we’ll all put our heads round it to find the best answer…

    Thanks for the suggestions.

The signs will be up for a couple of days, and we are looking at quoting for about 180 off, all different. The spec given was just lightweight but smart.

They have seen some correx signs we produced already, we were thinking of possibly going this route and creasing the correx to attach to the top of the table with self adhesive or velcro.

If you use velcro on the table, a good tip is to staple it to the table as well,
don’t just rely on the adhesive on the velcro

…agreed Simon…and maybe 1 or 2mm foamex instead of corex…it would mean folding the stuff would be more involved but…nah!, maybe corex would do – give ‘um a sample and see!
