Summa Engineer (F-Series) recommendations please?

We’re having issues with the ADC on our F-Series.
ArtSystems are charging close to a grand for the day to send an engineer out (this is not on a credit account either, so will have to be cash up front).
Apparently the hours not spent on the job will be ‘credited’ back, but still, if you compare someone like PWSE (Peter Whitehead) who fixes our printers occasionally, he would bill for the time logged after completion.
Does anyone know a competent Summa engineer or smaller company that offer better rates and account terms than ArtSystems?

Put half a day aside if you’re calling edward Mathias! Lovely bloke and knows his stuff about anything cutter related but my god he can talk!

He can indeed, he also gets very offended if you don’t know all off the ins & outs of your machine, he thinks you shouldn’t be using it if you’re not an expert at it.

If it’s ADC unit why not replace yourself if machine is already out of the warranty? I had my f delivered and right on the install mine had faulty ADC from the manufacture and summa has shipped a new unit right away so guys from artsystem had it installed prior the training day.
From my sneaky look during the replacement it just was unscrew the ADC and unpin the cable that is connected to it just be careful not to drop the cable as is short so if you do let go of it , it will be hard to reach back in that front panel for it again. Small hands for this fix is a benefit.
Other then that a replacement from what I remember was simple plug and play swap.
Just remember to switch of the machine and even unplug from the 3phase.
