Evening all, has anyone else had a problem with the cutter not liking a certain font? Our’s has decided it does not like georgia, misses cutting parts of letters and never seems to overcut correctly. It’s never in the same spot and works fine with every other font. Machines only about 12 months old so can always call art systems out if it comes to it but since it’s only one font it seems a little odd, any idea’s??

    Cheers

    Dave

It’ll not be the plotter liking it or not – it’s the driving program that gives out the instructions.

Try welding / converting to curves or the same font under a different name.

Yeah could be, I’ll try it from signlab in the morning and see if thats any better. Wasted a good 10 metres today trying different settings and stuff, hopefully its just a corrupt font file or something simple 🙂

try as david says he is normally right but you said.

which would suggest that the solenoid is lazy may have a speck of dirt in it.
