  • Static Cling White, printed both sides?

Posted by Jean Oakley on August 6, 2024 at 4:10 pm

Hi all, I’ve been asked to produce static cling discs 500 off apx 100mm diameter. They will need to have print to both sides as they are to be used on car windscreen and have details to be seen from outside and inside the car. This is not something i can do and having done a bit of searching I’m struggling to find any companies that do. Is this something anyone has tackled before and would anyone be able to quote. Both images have a border to the edge which is probably going to make the whole thing harder. I’m going to try and pursued them to remove the borders if i can find anyone to print these. Any advice greatfully received jean

Check out this video from All Print that explains how to produce them…
Personally I would use a removable clear over cling 👍 oh and good shout removing the border 👍

This is the way that we do them – and we also try and persuade them to have removable clear, instead of self cling, as it’s more stable.

Or you could have them printed UV, as David suggests below.

    Hi Jean.

We should be able to print these double-sided for you. Do you have a file I can take a look at?

Also. Although we can print cling, David is correct a clear removable is always best for this kind of thing.

BTW I mean we can print these to a single layer of vinyl using white Ink to allow a 5 layer print.

+1 for removable clear, hate putting static cling through our latex machines.

And 5 layer ink printing is the way to go as above.
