Stainless Steel discoloration/Oxidisation
Hi All
We had some stainless steel letters made back in February by a reputable trade sign supplier.
The letters are made from 304 grade S/S with 0.9mm thick faces.
My initial thoughts are that the flux has not been cleaned off properly post soldering??
Has anyone come across this kind of thing before?
The sign is fitted to a wall inside the building so weather conditions are not a factor.
My customer has not cleaned the letters since they were installed with any type of cleaning solution through fear of damage to the faces.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Dave
