    Signlab-Graphtec ERROR – Cannot find USB Plotter

    Hi All,

    I am hoping someone can help me.

    I have previously used a laptop dock which has extra USB ports where my cables that connect to my Graphtec cutter were plugged into. It no longer works so I am now using a multi plug USB adaptor that is plugged directly into my laptop USB port. When I try to send to cut it is coming up with an error message

    Cannot find USB plotter GRAPHTEC CE5000_USB002+

    I am guessing I need to change settings somewhere to a different USB port?

    Go To Cut > Plotting Defaults > Setup > Port.
    In the top right corner is the port, it will currently show GRAPHTEC CE5000_USB002+ , click on the down arrow at the end of the port name to show all of the ports, You should then see one with a very similar name (the USB002 will likely have changed. Select the new one and then OK your way out.
