Hi all, any help from those running Signlab along with the Gerber Edge would be appreciated.

We’re very experienced Edge users and currently run three of them (Omega). We have recently purchased an Edge along with a PC with Sign lab e6 loaded (legit with the dongle). The Edge is printing spot colours very well and we have no problems with the PC, software or Edge.

Here is the problem we have. We have a greyscale bitmap (jpg) which we do not wish to CMYK (process) print. We want to print it with just a spot black foil (perfectly easy with Illustrator or Omega). Any experienced Edge users will know what I am talking about.

Pulling my hair out on this so any help is most appreciated.

    Thanks

    I think……

You change the bitmap to multi tone bitmap, then change the colour by clicking on a spot colour

    Could be wrong

Thanks Denise … I’ll be sure to give that a try when I am down at the office tomorrow.

    Anymore advice is most appreciated.
