  • Signlab dongle problem – What are my options now?

    Hi Guys,
I have been bumping along for a good few years with a second hand Signlab software and cutter.
I was making plans to upgrade but things have exhilarated somewhat as my wife bumped my dongle with the vacuum cleaner rendering it a dead stick!
I was wondering if anyone can hazard a guess as to my position with Cadlink now?
Will they still trade it in?
I have no record with them as it was bought second hand, Help!

Not sure if your on the old style or new USB stick type, but take a picture of the dongle close up showing the Security Number on it and send them an email.
they will probably ask you to send it in a jiffy bag by post and on receiving it replace it with new for a small replacement fee.

    try contacting them directly: https://www.cadlink.com

I think that a replacement USB dongle is now about £100 +VAT. You’ll need to send your damaged one to Cadlink first.

We damaged one when we moved, silly husband left it sticking out the computer.

Cost £75 from what I remember.

They can send u a temporary one until they receive your back, then the send a file to put in the dongle.

We just sent ours back and got it returned 3 days later

They’ll need the dongle number of it
