  • Signlab 9 – Advice updating to the latest version please?

We have recently updated signlab 9.1 and since doing so, we have experienced more and more problems as the day goes on, has anyone else updated and experienced any problems?

The main one being when we go try to alter the on-screen kerning, we alter it, click off it and then either we cant click on any other text to alter that or the text disappears completely and the computer crashes?

As with most updates, there are bugs that need fixed, just trying to work out if its just us or anyone else had this problem?

Have you tried rebooting the computer? sounds daft but amazing how much a reboot can help, even with mobile phones. 😀
    Possibly a dongle issue?

Thanks for your replies. At the time of posting i was still waiting on Cadlink getting back to me Denise. If there is ever any faults on any programmes i try quitting the program and restart and if that doesnt work i do a full system restart ( as you say Robert

. Cadlink did get in touch the following morning and as it turned out, there were a couple of faults with the latest update (build 6) that caused signlab to crash when altering the kerning or fitting text to path, however they have fixed it and forwarded me on the patch 😀

Initially it did seem to fix it, but their still are issues, but they only appear now and then.
