Sign Materials Ltd UK and Ireland – SCAMMERS
Posted by Paul Whyte on April 10, 2018 at 6:50 pmAs above I have just experienced this company who scammed me out of just over £200. Never received items order Ed. Not the cheapest of prices so didn’t think much of it but three phone numbers with no answer, no replies to emails and his neighbours told me that if your chasing debt you have no chance. Address is just a rough lockup.

Just had a nosey on Companies house. They’re local(ish) to me, but the name rang a bell… he used to be a rep for Sign & Digital, driving their cruiser.
Bit more of nosey, there’s an Amazon site sellers page that makes interesting reading.
If you paid by paypal, or credit card you could try a charge back, ring your bank. May even still be possible with a debit card.

PayPal on the largest part of the order and debit card on the smallest part. Bank says wait till the 20th and PayPal will be ramped up tomorrow. I have done a fair bit of homework too!! Will just hope to get my money back but shame that people still don’t have the decency to look you in the face when they rob you!!

Strange, Ive had 2 or 3 orders from this company with no problems, all around the 40-50 quid mark
I only posted their link on this site the other day for knifeless tape :awkward: -
Had a bunch of emails from them this morning saying ‘relocation sale’

It’s seems his Amazon account shows he hasn’t been sending things to other folk either. He is apparently moving from the lock up to his house in the ‘RELOCATION’. Time will tell though

Just had word back from PayPal that they have favoured me as a result of the seller failing to respond with suitable details. Great for me but its a pity he still has the neck to be trading as he does and is getting away with it!

I’ve had about 12 emails today advertising the ‘relocation sale’

I signed up for them and didn’t get any after he took my money. His girlfriend is in on it as well, doing the emails etc. What goes around!!

I had ordered quite a few items a few days before reading this thread…and it made me a tad nervous.
Tried to contact via email and it bounced back as undeliverable so filed with PayPal.Got response quickly from the seller and assured that my goods were already shipped, and an explanation that the person charged with doing the shipping etc during the move hadn’t been doing a great job (put mildly).
Sure enough my stuff turned up and I reversed the hold on PayPal to pay for goods that I ordered and were delivered.I’d suggest dealing with them in a business-like fashion.
Personally, I can’t fault them so wouldn’t write them off just yet.

I eventually got a reply after someone on UKSG told them what I had written. I conversed with Jamie in a professional manner and dealt with the situation but was told a different reason for the issue. I was reimbursed by PayPal and eventually refunded my second order. I will still not deal with them again.
