Sign Lab 7 vinyl cutting problem
Hi People, have a small problem with Sign lab 7, can anyone tell me how do I set up my artwork so when it goes through the plotter it don’t cut from different place but only starts the cut from the beginning of the page and finishes on the end of the page. This way my media don’t come off the rollers. I know there was a short cut to do this but can’t seem to remember it, I have had a look in the manual still no luck. Appreciate any help thanks

Hi, if I remember correctly go to Cut ( drop down menu ) then select plotting defaults and there is the facility to select start and end points for cutter.
Select where you want start and finish then apply & save.

Thank You Paul for the respond, ive given this a go and it seems to make
no changes, the plotter still cuts from different places on the vinyl. -
Try this;
Go to Plot. Select the object start point to be current and select SORT.
Save defaults and apply.
Select Setup. Select START origin and END origin points.
When you go to CUT, select the type of sort you want; vertical/horizontal etc. Select "show sort numbers" to check it’s as you want.
I don’t know why your media is coming off the rollers. Do you mean at the end of the vinyl or is it moving sideways? -

Cut/plotting defaults/setup. Sorry I always just hit the setup icon on the toolbar.
