Service call 0101 on Grenadier SP-1400C!!
I have been getting a service call 0101 on my printer. I have been told that I need to perform the limit initialization. I have followed the steps given but when i get to cutter down position and press enter I get the message unrecoverable limit sensor. Why is this?

When you go thro the setup to recalibrate, be very careful when moving the head to the right – move very gently until you hear a ‘click’.
If you push too hard the setup doesn’t work.john

I know this is really old but just had same problem. Answer is when asked for ‘cutter down position’ slowly push cutter to the far left past cutting strip until it’s under the left hand cover, then press enter, the cutting head will slow come back & attach to the print heads & reset it self.

It’s about limit position initialize. Perform that from the limit initialize menu and that should do it.
