RIP-like software for cutter?
Hi,
I was wondering if there is any software available for cutters that can do what a RIP do for printers:
– add multiple items, various sizes, to the queue
– set a number of copies per item
– nesting based on roll width (or sheet size), ideally with a possibility to add weeding frame and space between each item
– send all queue at once, nested, to the plotterIt must work on Mac OS with a Graphtec cutter.

It doesn’t do it all "just as you said" but does in its own ways.the one crucial factor you will require to make this all possible, is your cutter needs to be roll to roll with a take-up system. if its not, then your only going to get runs of about 5 metres and the cutter tracking will start running off.

They don’t seem to have a Mac version, only Windows, right?

Not sure on the Mac setup with it as i switched away from Macs some time ago now.
Had a quick look and there is a trial download HERE mentioning Mac. might be worth a try or contacting them direct maybe quicker. -
I have SignPal Expert from Grafityp that does all that but not sure if it works with a mac.
