  • Printing Profile for one way vision print vinyl?

Morning folks, i don’t use a lot of one way vision so i was hoping someone on here would know the best profile for it on an Epson, i have just changed from Mimaki to the SC-S 40600 but the one way vision i got is from MDP so its a generic brand, all the profile i’ve tried still make the material lift and bubble….. or should i print with no heat and let it dry longer?

    thanks for any help

Does your machine not have a generic profile for controvision John?
I am not saying it will be the perfect solution, but often printers come bundled with some generic options that are often a good starting point, if not a solution to a missing profile.

You should also try the Epson website for a media matched profile, or again, a generic one.

Personally, I would contact MDP and ask them for a matching profile or a generic one that will work with their media? At the end of the day, they are going to lose out on future business if they do not have one or refuse to at least help you locate one.

We’ve used Metamark contravision with the MD5 profile on our Epsons, and didn’t have any problems. If this doesn’t work, you could try turning the temperature down from the control panel on the machine. Try 33 / 33 / 45 to see if this stops the bubbling.
