I want to print lots of different greens to see what they look like when printed. Is there a way to do this in flexi without having configure every colour? I am using flexi then exporting them to versaworks but when the colour is printed they dont seem as bright. Or is there a way of getting the versaworks colour swatch into flexi? Thanks!

    Hi Damian,

I have flexi 7.5 – so may be different for yours.

    Try following:

view/create swatch/cmyk. Then export as EPS, open as CMYK and do a test print – will give you a variety. All Black values are zero though – so you may have to manually adjust – but at least gives you a start.

I dont have a roland but can you ramp up the saturation in the RIP? Have done this on mimaki/shiraz with good results – although can colour shift other colours if you these on same print. Have found to be a lot of trial and error.

    Hi

Find a PDF copy of Pantone Colour Bridge via Google, import it into Flexi and print it off.

This link might still work, cut & paste into your browser.
