Hi I have a VS 300 and although the print quality is good, I am getting a bit of banding. I have tried changing dpi, profiles etc and have been told I can alter the V Pass or Plus Pass on the settings to smooth this out. Problem is I can’t find this setting anywhere! Running 4.1.1

    Thanks

    Nick

It all seems to be calibrated ok and all nozzles clear etc. Apparently there is a setting that smooths out the print banding which is the Roland Intelligent pass control system that can be altered but I can’t find it!

I think the RIPC settings are in the default media profiles. I don’t know if they can be altered elsewhere.

    Kind regards

i have a vs and as long as the print test is ok then i would check the feed calibration, is this material thicker or thinner than your normal.

Agreed. Sounds like feed correction to me….
