very soon I am gonna scream, throw a proper tantrum and leave my pc monitor wondering why it’s in a million pieces!! I am now closing early before the above happens.

ok, customer brings in a powerpoint presentation (too big to post on here) comprising of a load of table names, I can’t find a way to print directly as the page size isn’t correct, the printer (any of them) are not playing ball and ‘fitting to page’ etc.

if I try and import as a ppt into corel it just crashes it and closes ALL my open windows of work in various stages – a huge bug bear that I have with corel X5, that’s another story…

when I try and copy/paste into corel, no good, not all of the document pastes, I can’t drag/drop at all. I save as a pdf and it only ever saves the first page, not the others…

at my whits end on this bloody job,

is anyone PPT savvy who I could email this file to in the morning, and who could perhaps separate it into individual files or just splash them all onto a corel desktop for me to edit?

if not I’ll send the customer home empty handed I think – wasted an hour on it already, all for 15 double sides A5prints at a quid each 🙁

Power Point is a pain but have you tried printing to CutePDF or similar from PowerPoint and then importing the pdf into Draw. The colour model maybe wrong but you may end up with something you can work with inside Draw.

think I may have sorted it now guys, had to select all and save as pdf or it only saved the first of 17 pages. trouble is that it’s all the wrong size… want it on A5 but they’ve designed it somewhere between A4/5,

    oh well…. onward…

thanks for the advice and offers of help.

Which version of Power Point are you using, there’s an easy way to change the size in 2010, I have customer who sends everything over in powerpoint.

Design-> Page Setup -> Set width & height

OK and it should re-size all of the slides.
