Pinthead issue please help
Hello, guys. please hope you could help. our printer is Mimaki cjv150 . the printhead (newly installed 3 months ago) had some nozzles missing(please see first photo attached) and we called an engineer from Printech service, the engineer connected syringe at the bottom of the capping station pulling and also pushing the ink towards the printhead to test if the cap was sealed properly, when he pushed air in the syringe towards the printhead I could see there was some black waste ink came out of the connection point between the printhead and the cap. the engineer then uninstalled the printhead however he did not clean the waste ink left on his hands and left some ink on the integrated circuit parts of both side of the printhead, after the printhead was installed back the printer started printing black lanes from all the nozzles(please see second the third photo attached), no colour at all , any idea what caused the issue? Did the engineer broke the printhead ?
We later called engineers from other companies including hybrid and they told us the printhead is finished and we need to buy a new printhead. an engineer from another company also told us that pushing air from the bottom of the capping station towards the the printhead was a wrong practice and will damaged the printhead. any suggestions please? thank you.
