Perspex cutting, how do you do it?
As there is a severe lack of clear perspex available I now need to use the substantial amount of off cut I have lying around.
The problem as always, is how to cut this and be left with a square, clean display edge.
I’ve used scoring blades, mini saws and hand held circular saws in the past, the result is not good enough to use and have resorted to ordering in pre-cut material which is not an option at the moment. Will presumably need some sort of table saw.
What does every one else use?

Possibly look for someone nearby who has a laser, and see if they could help.

I have a friend locally with a large flatbed cnc. probably not cost effective for small jobs so look for someone with a small cnc.
check youtube to see ‘acrylic edge flame polishing’ tutorials.

You can also use a router and a straight edge to guide it. That should give you a pretty good edge. Sand and polish the edge if need be, or ideally flame polish the edge. Take extra care at the beginning and end of the cut in case of chipping the corners.

I have a few half sheets and such which need cutting to various sizes (A3, A2 etc).
Hoping to use these up as they are just sat there doing nothing.

We’ve got a wall saw for that kind of stuff, takes up zero space and if you’re patient enough you’ll get them for a right steal on eBay.
Stay away from the manual ones or the zapkut transportable type, absolute waste of time
