  • Onyx Thrive : Where are my buffered jobs ?

    Good morning everyone.

We use Onyx Thrive to RIP our jobs to out flatbed printer. In the last couple of days it’s suddenly developed a ‘fault’ and I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction?

I’ve popped a picture on here of the main dashboard of the program. In the section highlighted at the bottom is where the jobs are usually listed when they are being ripped or where they sit once they’ve been used. All of a sudden they’re not appearing there at all which is quite frustrating.

The jobs themselves are ripping okay and i’m able to send the job to the printer but it would be very helpful if they’d appear in the ‘buffered jobs’ section again.

I’m sure it’s just the case that something has been un-ticked, but i’ve had a good look and I can’t find anything.

    Hi

We have Onyx Postershop – not sure how that differs from Thrive, looks the same from your screen shot though.

Could it be that you have the ‘after printing’ toggle set to ‘delete job’, this is found on the print tab in job editor and the print setup button half way down the page?

    Cheers
    Dave

Hi David, thank you for your time on this.

I’ve just checked those setting and it appears we’re set up the same. I am still hoping it is something that has been un-ticked or ticked within the program. It is very strange as it is working okay, just can’t get any jobs to appear in the buffered section.

Have you got it set to show jobs for all printers in the drop down menu just above the print queue?

Hi Jamie, I just checked that and it’s set to the one printer, but that’s the only one that particular program is running ….

I have however just managed to sort it. I checked where the buffered jobs are saved within the PC folders and deleted all the jobs that were sat in there and there must have been a corrupt file, as the jobs have re-appeared within that section and it now displays the jobs in progress. ……… aren’t PC’s a right pain !!

Thank you very much to the both of you for taking time out of your day to help.
