    Hi all,
first time poster in this forum.
I am a student and bought a budget printer, i knows its only 600 x 600 dpi but it prints out my floor plans and posters. i know it can print signs aswel.

Currently im struggling to start printing.
i cant seem to calibrate the print heads. i have done calibration tests and punched in the numbers that are suitable from the test and then save user. stil a epic fail! 🙁

can anyone advise me on how to calibrate the print heads, or mayb i need to readjust the printer head height or carriage shaft bar..

Please help!.. i feel like i keep walking into a brick wall over and over again

That test print will be the same every time until you change a head cart. Then there will probably be a change in the values required.
The value you have entered take effect when you start printing only.
You can check that by printing small coloured boxes with different coloured or black hairline outlines.

Best thing to do with that printer is scrap it. I had one many many years ago. Worst machine in the world. Terrible design

That’s perfectly normal for an Encad. You need to pick the mark that is aligned best and as said above, the value will not change like you’re expecting, it will just hold the value in its memory.

PS – those printers are WAY past their best now I’m afraid. Even the 1000i and Koday 1200i which replaced them are used more often as hat stands and dorr stops now….
