New workshop, any suggestions?
Morning. Long time listener, first time caller.
We are moving to a new premises at the end of the summer. It’s a shell at the moment and doing up plans at the moment for the fitout. If you were to start again, is there anything you’d make sure to have? Or something you realised about your layout, or anything else. Really want to try nail this down right the first time and not have to change everything around again in 6 months (like we did with current place). After we moved in we realised that our worktable was too small and that our dispatch area got in the way of new deliveries

Yup. Try to avoid dividing it up into areas with partition walls. Keep it open plan, the more open it is the more efficient it will run.
