    Hi Alan

I’ve just upgraded to X6 and there is the subscription for it now with the updates and extra’s.
Do you use this and is it worth having?
Also do you have any idea when X7 will be out?

So far finding some of the minor improvements good, they seem to have fixed the extrude shadow tool this time as well.

Depends a bit on how you use Draw. The standard membership is free, all you have to do is sign up for it, this gives you more online content, updates etc. The Premium paid for membership gives you the above, plus extra content and fonts, new bits such as guide dockers plus others which just enhances usabilty. I think for this first year premium gives you an upgrade to X7 but you better check that on the Corel site as well as confirmation of the advantages of Premium membership.

Regarding X7 I have no idea when that would be out, I can only confirm that X6 is the latest version at 6.3 and is ongoing.

    Thanks Alan.

Apparently if I took out the premium now and X7 comes out within the year then I’ll get it, however if I took out premium just before X7 is released then I’ll not get it as I’ve obviously tried to play the system, according to the corel help forum.
Also if I take out Premium now and X7 comes out next week I’ll get it as I’ve just bought the X6 upgrade.

I was just wondering if you had premium and found it useful, if not then the only other advantage would be for the update to X7.
I think for the £95 I might give it a go for this first year and see how it goes.

I don’t know what X7 will contain but don’t expect it for next week!!
I do have premium and some of the dockers are different to standard – guides for one but I’m not sure what is or isn’t in from Standard. Draw now can generate QR codes with an option to simplify and weld pixels, slight issue with the welding at the moment but I’m sure that will get resolved but the generation works very well. Not sure if that’s a premium feature or not
