If you have all recieved your latest sign update mag, you will have also have had the latest issue from Grafityp. Have you seen the machine on page 19, it`s called the “Signart Nautilus”

Has anyone made anymore inquiries on this item. If so, give us the low down. What do you think of it.
Does it work on the same principal as the p600. 😥 😥

Also does anyone know what is the price of a new edge. Does it come with soft ware to run it?
I`m thinking of getting rid of the p600, for something that works a bit better(it can`t be me can it?)

    all coments welcome

Kev, I’ve seen the machine advertised but know nothing about it. Its priced about the same as an edge but it obviously prints much wider at 36″. Dont know if it is any good or what the production costs would be.
Tony I dont know anything about the pc12 exept it is the smaller version of the pc600 which everyone keeps complaining about so beware. Robert has a pc60 which he has next to no bother with so perhaps when roland brought out the new model they got it wrong !!

    Hi Tony,

The PC-12 was launched i think by Victory at last years printwear and promotion exhibition. Its 12″ wide and works on the same basis as the the other colour cams, about 18 months ago i was looking into this machine but it wasn’t available in the UK.

I had it in mind to use the machine for small decals and for small breast pocket logos in full colour, the Roland rep i spoke to told me to steer clear, and that i’d be better off just buying a CX-24. The machine had all sort of problems which is why it hadn’t been released to the UK market – I have no idea if the problems are sorted out or not.

    I Hope this helps

    Hi Lorraine
Tony & I were just on about this today, our sales rep told us the same thing.

I thought the pc-12 looked very plastic-y. Not solid at all.
