Mobile Sign Supplies – anyone heard of them?
Posted by Phill Fenton on September 14, 2015 at 12:17 pmAnyone heard of this mob? Seems an unusual set up, a man with a van travelling around selling sign supplies?

This sort of thing has been on the go a good few years Phill.
Vans like this sell counterfeit and out of shelf life vinyl’s. Not saying they are all bad or anything like that in some ways a mobile service can be helpful… You will probably heard of the mobile sign making vans doing the rounds too. 😀 -
I bought some digital vinyl from a guy in a LWB van OVERLOADED with vinyl. Never again. 75m for the price of 100, proper ripped off. ‘There’s one 50m roll boss, and these 2 other rolls add up to 50 metres, 100 metres boss’, nowhere near 100 metres 👿

I didn’t like this guy or his set up – so told him I wasn’t interested and asked him to leave. There was an awkward moment when I thought he wasn’t going to leave and I think he swore at me as he left.
I should have asked him what credit terms he was offering :lol1:

we have these around our way don’t know of any problems with them although could be a different lot. They sell DG Cal vinyl and other productshttp://mobilesignsupplies.com/

Kev,
These guys have been in to see me too…
Not bought anything from them – Most of the stuff we need is 2m and over so these guys don’t really cater for us.
My colleague wasn’t impressed when they turned up, he wouldn’t let them in.

Clearly get about…. They where in with me a few months back over here in Northern Ireland. Wasn’t impressed when I wouldn’t buy anything.

Have to say not purchased from them myself but do know of other signmakers who have and they never seem to complain about them
