  • Merging cells in table, help please??

Posted by Nick Minnery on March 25, 2013 at 2:19 pm

Wonder if anyone can help with this one.

Basically, I’m trying to merge the two top cells (see pic) to form one cell. But, as you can see on the image, the ‘merge’ option isn’t even, well, an option! Even if I break the table apart, it still won’t give me the option to merge.

    Can anyone help?

    cheers

    Nick

Use the table tool from the left hand toolbar, move cursor till you get a plus symbol on the cell you want to merge left click mouse and it will highlight cell press and hold ctrl move cursor over other cell you want to merge till you get plus symbol again click and highlight, right click mouse and select merge cells.

Steve, you’re a genius mate, thank you 😉

Well I looked in the Coreldraw book, and in help in the programme, couldn’t see those instructions anywhere.

    Thanks again
