    Morning all

I have been printing some banners this morning and had to change the roll. Both Metamark 440 printed on latex machine with the correct profile.
Left hand image is the last print from the old roll the right hand side is the new roll.

All I can think is the new roll had been in my van over night after I had collected it yesterday from the Woking offices.

    TIA
    Iain

Edit— I have had a closer feel and look, it seems that I may have been given a roll of the 500 last time but my receipt says 440. As this new media feels rough on what should be the smooth side.

Its not that I am afraid but I was told on a Facebook forum to wipe the media with some ipa and then test it. This was the result. So there is something up with the media. I am not going to unwind 30 m to clean it.

This is a popular issue with latex printers and the cheaper laminated 440gsm banner, I think I’m right suggesting it’s a plasticiser issue. The only true way to fix this is move upto a coated or semi coated 510gsm if not You would switch brands and that could work for a while
