hi guys I’m looking for a roland cutter engineer to pop in and help correct the print and cut alignment on my machine, theres nothing wrong with machine cuts great and perfect on normal vinyl cutting but when i print/laminate and cut on my roland xc540 printer then perform die cut and perf cut around items they are out by about 3mm, it just needs someone who is used to roland cutters (always used graphtec in past) to do set up in menus properly, keep pulling my hair out :lol1: , cheers in advance shawn

Andy Broom at CMYK-Solutions maybe worth asking. If he can’t get to you he may know someone who can.

Hi Shawn. Have you been through all the print and cut adjustments in the service menu or do you think you have a mechanical problem somewhere?

Hi Stafford no Defo set up problem lol, I just don’t have the time to keep Doing prints with crop marks to test them, also when I spoke to Roland tech support it was quite confusing, is there a quicker way to get this to align with printing a test every time with crop marks? Many thanks in advance Shawn

There are a couple of calibrations you can do in service mode. Mainly the one that prints out the graph type pattern and then cuts up and across the feed and scan axis. You then tell it where the cut line best lines up and Bob’s your Monkhouse.

Also, have you replaced your pinch rollers lately? Particularly the outer ones.
