  • Light boxes supplier for a new client, advice please?

Posted by Iain George on June 21, 2019 at 7:32 am

    Morning
I have been asked to supply and install some new light boxes for a client. They have specified in the project pack that all light boxes are “Universal Slimline” boxes. Google has been no help. I know what they are as I used to install them at Gatwick airport, working for an old firm, but never knew where they came from.
    Many thanks Iain

    Hi Iain

Think this would relate to universal aluminium but from what I can remember they stopped manufacturing light boxes

    Hi Iain,

these guys used to make lightboxes when they were based in Bristol before the company was sold on

(hence the Universal bit) but looking at their website it looks like they have stopped the signage side now.

Best bet is to speak to Paul Vickery, Paul Harvey or Lisa Sperring at Nova Aluminium in Bristol. Both Pauls used to be directors at Universal so should know exactly what product you are after and what the nearest alternative is they can offer.

    Hope that helps….
