Hi there, I’m a newbie to the forum, and this is my 1st post. Wondering if anyone else is using a JV3 to print Metamark vinyls via Signlab ver 9.1 RIP. I’m struggling to get decent colours on my prints.

We only use the jv3 for banners, I think we use an oracal profile

Thanks Denise, any idea which one and I’ll give it a go?
Do you output directly to the vpm? I’ve not been getting good results doing that, even outputting the design as a pdf and then dragging this into the rip doesn’t give the right colours.
In desperation I tried outputting the design as an eps file and dragging this into the rip and it gave much better results … so I think I’m getting somewhere, if I could try the oracal profile with the eps it might just do the trick !

Have you as your Metamark rep for the profiles?

I’ve tried the Metamark profiles, they’ve not been tested by Metamark and they are for signlab ver 7
