Installing office wallpaper print- adhesive advice please?

I could be wrong, but I think Spandex do a sort of canvas finish adhesive-backed material for wall prints. I may even have a sample roll of it at work.

Sadly for me, Rafa canvas is a simple, quick method to cover a wall, but for installers that don’t posses the skills to hang proper wallpapers.
Don’t use it, never will use it. Far better products to cover a wall :thumbsup:

Any reason you don’t want to do it in drops?

Here’s some we installed yesterday 5 drops, 5mm overlaps. Using a self adhesive media from Signmaster Systems, not sure what it is.

why not a one piece fabric

Never used any of these wall coverings, I must look into it some more. I generally just use a matt laminated polymeric with a horizontal join

I find it much easier to join the prints on the bench in the workshop & the one-piece install is lightning fast, seems easier to me rather than multiple pieces to line up. Also, the top piece overlapping the bottom piece below eye level seems almost invisible in my opinion.

so what if your walls are 4.2mts H x 11.5mts W – do you still join it on the bench and fit one piece ?

No, I haven’t done one that size yet.
All the ones I’ve done have been perfectly doable in one piece so made sense to do it that way

No, I haven’t done one that size yet.

The main issue is see with horizontal is that its not a 1 man install. Where vertical drops are.

Have you never used wall coverings Kevin ?
Pretty much 90% of our projects are commercial interiors, so our team are very experienced in most
variables out there regarding materials. Some find it easier to fit one piece jobs due to time/cost restraints, others for ease of install, but in fairness, if you have good installers, then walls fitted in panels/drops are just as effective, as sometimes its more about using the correct material for the project, and each material we use or recommend has its own merits.

Only ever used polymeric vinyl I’m afraid, never tried any purpose designed wall coverings. I’ll try & push it a bit

Thanks for the advice, although I think it went off subject a bit.

The clients looking for a no-join finish and has asked for a one peice print. I’ve only ever installed S/A wallpaper rolls which does give an acceptable finish. Perhaps Digimura or similar is the way to go, without the overlaps.
