  • ink problem…my black ink going into the magenta damper

    Hello ,,,,,,, please help me with advice my machine is jv3 160s machine…. and my black ink is going into my magenta damper which is making the magenta to prints black and also same problems with my yellow head printing blue because the blue ink is fellowing into the yellow damper.

    That will probably be your pump not locking off properly and causing the ink from the cap to run back up the ink line.

    You will probably get more replies if you introduce yourself in the correct section of the forum first.

    let us know if u have a pool of liquid in the capping station under the first head

    you may have to check pressures with syringe, sounds like new pump is not able to pump (blockages)

    Thanks Dave,

    just to explains more concerning this problem,,,,,,
    went am printing a box sample of only yellow …the outcome will be yellow mixed with lots of blue …..until you cannot see the yellow…
    and if am printing box of red, the black ink will overcome the red……

    are you suggesting to change both pump.
