Het guys I have had a Summa D60 for about 10 years and not used it much. Did run it on an old laptop with dongled Signlab 4.9. Anyway the laptop has died and softwarecnow of no use. I have a new laptop and was considering downloading the new Illustrator CC or Coreldraw. Is it possible to cut direct from either of these? Im not a business as such as I only do the odd vynyl job for myself or mates. Didnt really want to go down route of expensive buy of new Signlab.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Stuart.
I run my little D60 with Freesign. I don’t think you can run from illustrator itself. You could try downloading Wincut maybe, never used it myself but it’s free so might be worth a go. Free sign served me well over the years, comes free with new Summas & has an illustrator plugin so selected images import straight into it.
Try contacting Summa to see if they let you download a copy?

Update, definitely speak to Harry at Eddie Mathias. Not much that Bloke doesn’t know about plotters & software to drive them. I think they can do better deals than going to Summa directly
