    Hello boys and girls,

So few days ago i did a large run of hi viz tops. I always use a cover sheet over the garment.

Yesterday i started pressing white polyster tops and yes you have guessed it, they are turning yellow :bangshead:

Turns out that they have stained into the rubber bed of the press. No matter how much i clean it, its not clearing out.

Nightmare. Not really sure what to do. Maybe cover the bed? anyone had this problem? how do you cope with hi viz?

Try placing old clothing over and keep pressing. Or as the colour is a sublimated Dye place an old cloth over the base and leave the heat platten just hovering over it with the temp turned up high. This way it may just turn the Dye back to a gas and lift off.

Thanks guys, i will try pressing it out. For now i covered the bed in teflon, same idea as this cover. But i will purchasing one asap. You would think with buying a top branded press these covers would be included.

    Thanks again

We keep an old t-shirt on the bottom of ours.
