    Hi Gary

I run HP latex, so I am not the best to advise.
But from what I can find online is that the “1A39” error code generally indicates an ink system issue and is often related to problems with the ink supply or ink flow.

These are not my instructions, but should help.

    Ink Cartridge Issue:
A cartridge may be empty, improperly installed, or not recognized.

    Ink Delivery System:
There might be an issue in the ink delivery system, such as a blockage or a failure in the pump that supplies ink from the cartridge to the printhead.

    Air in the Ink Line:
Air bubbles in the ink line can disrupt ink flow, causing this error code.

    Ink Pressure or Sensor Issue:
Sensors that detect ink flow may be malfunctioning or blocked.

    Try the following…

    Power Cycle the Printer:
Turn off the printer, wait a few minutes, and then power it back on.

    Check Ink Cartridges:
Ensure all cartridges are seated correctly and are not empty.

    Inspect Ink Lines and Dampers:
Look for visible air bubbles in the ink lines or any obstructions.

    Run Ink Charge or Cleaning:
Use the printer’s menu to perform an ink charge or clean the ink system to help flush any blockages.

    Contact Support:
If the error persists, contact Epson support or a certified technician, as this could indicate a need for professional servicing.

Looks like it might be a head error.

Hi Gary, unfortunately it’s going to need a new head(s). I supply these and it’s always a print head I’m afraid with this error.

Just out of interest how much do you charge for the printheads and do you fit them? I know you need specialised software otherwise I’d do it myself.
