Has anyone got – 3M 1080 ice blue G247
Hi guys, been a long time since last post. I was just wondering if anyone has a few meters of 3M 1080 ice blue G247 lying around. Its for a repair job.. and 3M no longer stock that colour…need 2 or 3 meters Thank youuuuuu 🙂

Hopefully, someone here will be able to help you. I did a quick Google and also checked some suppliers across the pond, but came up with zero. Those that did list it, were out of stock. 🙄
I know suppliers will have their reasons, but I think the manufacturers, such as 3M, Avery etc. should hold x-amount of the wrap vinyl that “they choose to discontinue” from the date they stop manufacturing it, to the life expectancy of the film.
A good habit to form is to up-sell your wraps by selling an additional 2-3 metres as part of your own personal business warranty” on your work. This is for such an occasion, just like this. just stick it in a vinyl box around a roll and in the poly bag.
If the customer damages the wrap, they come back with the vinyl which will be an exact batch match. You then just charge for the stripping and re-wrapping. But the responsibility is then on the customer for the material. If they decline to buy your damage repair kit along with their wrap, its their own problem. In this case, he will be blaming you for 3M dropping the range.anyway, I’m rambling, 😂 best of luck finding it Ben. 👍
