Hi. I am new to this so bare with me cos I need your help.
I have a sp1400c and I am not sure if my heaters are getting up to temp.
The problem is I don’t have a manual for the heater unit and control pad, its the one that sits on top of the ink unit with the control pad above the main control panel. I have found if I press the ‘on’ button in the control panel several times this seems to increase the temp but then gives an intermitant flashing + sign and I have no idea what this means. So my main aim is to get hold of a manual or for someone far brighter than me to suggest a solution.
    Cheers

Hey Fella you’re a star. Thanks for that. I will give it a go and see what happens. I am not the operator so I am working on info that is second hand and there is no accounting for idiots. Just tried it, I get it now, If I have read this right, the heaters only reach temp selected in brackets when they are told to by pressing the ‘on’ button and don’t do so automatically when switched on at mains. Only just got this machine and engineer failed to pass that little nugget on and without the manual wasn’t sure.
    Thanks very much again.
