yup shane thats the dude. Met him at my first ever letterheads meet in 97 and kept in touch ever since in fact just had an email from him this morning. The guy has to be the best gilder I have ever met and his work is praised the world over. His workshops in glass gilding at the meets are awsome. In fact he is doing a workshop at periandros’s meet in 2005.

John is the national vice president of the australia sign association.

Only spoke to him once on the phone, and he has communicated via email once or twice, but he is easily the most passionate bloke there is when it comes to anything to do with the sign industry.

I know the president Barbara Enright, really well, and she has nothing but praise for john j.

He has been around for yonks. Lovely man. You should see if he’ll jointhe UKSB when you see him. He would be an asset for sure
