  • General thoughts on Jet Best Bulk Ink System?

Posted by Jonathan feeney on October 2, 2019 at 11:59 am

Hello, I’m looking for some help, I’m considering swapping my Roland VP540 onto the jet best bulk system, i already use third-party inks through europoint but have worked out the saving is far greater to move to Jet Best.

Can anyone advise if they have moved and what was your experience in doing so and is it worth it?

    Thanks in advance

Yep used them for 6+ years on my old VS640 and never had a single problem, I would have kept in with them on my EJ640 but they don’t have a system for it.

We inherited a Jetbest bulk system when we purchased an SC545 many years ago (having previously used only Roland genuine) and it was great. No issues at all. Colours were bright and vibrant and longevity really good. Were so impressed when we upgraded to an XC540 we went with the same system again.

The savings are massive however they don’t have any guarantees/warranties in place if a head goes down due to their use. Mike at Colour Mill is really helpful though.

Couldn’t/wouldn’t recommend the bulk/cartridge system Digink from DigiPrint Supplies. Caused us a lot of grief !

I have been using jet best cartridges in my SP540V for over 5 years.
The colours are the same, it works the same, never a problem, and two thirds the price.

I ran Jetbest on my old Mimaki JV3 for years with no issues.

Better to get "permanent chips" ( possibly need to order these from China) to save buying replacement chips on a regular basis.
