  • Garment heatpress recomendations?

Posted by Leslie Anderson on April 5, 2024 at 10:50 am

    Hi guys

My trusty heat press has stopped working and i am waiting for someone to come to look at fixing it for me. I don’t have much hope for it, so I thought I would ask for some recommendations on a new one?
I do not do huge volumes and i am not looking for anything mega expensive.

i bought my current one second hand and it has served me well, so i can’t complain.

    thanks for any help.

I do a huge amount of pressing and my opinion is that you need quality, mainly because of how the heat is distributed on the platen. So i recommend buying a good secondhand press if you can find one or a new mid-range if your budget allows.

I currently have a Stahls Hotronix. My press before this was a Secabo.

Both have been very good for me, I do thousands of garments a year

I am not the best to advise on this type of thing but I have a Siser TS-One and have had it a long times.
Hardly ever use it, only bought it to do our own workwear and stuff.
It comes with three quick change heads.

I bought mine from Grafityp in Birmingham, a good company to deal with.

thanks a bunch everyone. the guy managed to get the old one working again. it was a loose wire or connection or something but I’ve been told it has seen better days and i should be looking for something else before it goes again.
at the prices i saw, i am tempted by the heat presses on ebay because i do not do much garment printing and any that i do is just names and logos on t-shirts for children.
