  • Flexi saying I’m in the demo

    I’m having a huge issue here .. I’ve been using flexi 10 for months no issues .. Then today I try to cut something and says I’m in demo mode .. And won’t let me cut? Why has this happened? Can anyone help me resolve this please?

    The dongle is a term used to describe the security key that Flexisign uses to prevent multiple copies of it’s software being used simultaneously. Without this in place the software will not work properly. It looks like a usb stick and plugs into a usb port (or if your software is really old – it will be a device that plugs into the lpt1 port ). If the dongle develops a fault flexi will no longer run as intended and may default to demo mode. If you don’t have a dongle this brings into question the validity of the software you are using?

    does depend what version is being used latest version is cloud based so no dongle checks status by signing on to SAI

    Thanks for the reply’s guys … It’s flexi 10 and it’s not a hack it’s legit … I bought the PC off a sign company as he upgraded .. I have since been on the phone which he used teamviewer so he could use my computer but couldn’t sort it that way so he said he will burn me the cd and send it out in the post next week .. And I will have to uninstall and reinstall. But since you mentioned that dongle … I’d say a few weeks ago there was a similar thing to a usb but green and thinner stuck in the back of the tower which I removed as I thought it wasn’t doing anything … And the software has worked fine since until today .. Is this what your talking about? The thing is I can’t afford to wait until next week .. I have a urgent job to get done? If some could confirm this that would be great? Thanks

    Yes that sounds like the dongle which you would have with 10 put that back in and program should run, even with new disc unless its a cracked version it will not work without the dongle

    Morning Kevin, I’ve done that I put the dongle in but nothing … So I downloaded noldus and that got the light back on the dongle … It says there no drivers .. So I’m in the middle of doing a Windows update and avg virus scan .. Hopefully that will work? This couldn’t of happened at a worst time

    I’m at a loss … I might just buy the software again and install again … What a nightmare? As I’ve got a urgent vinyl job that needs doing can I cut straight from Corel? As I’ve got Corel X6 ?

    Sorry if this sounds a bit negative Daniel but if the software is legitimate then how is he having to burn you a copy of the disc? If he had sold you the software then not only should you have received the software on the computer but you should have got all the disks & documentation & the registration for the software should have been transferred from the previous owner to yourself with SA International.
    Was this an auction site buy?

    Hey Martin, well as far as I knew it was all legitimate.. I had the sentinel key. I bought the computer off a sign company that had just upgraded its equipment I only ever recieved the computer through the post nothing more. But what I’ve done now is put the computer in the shop as it was so running slow and repurchased flexi which should arrive this week. Hopefully I can get back on track this week as I have jobs piling up 🙁
