Flex Pro. Pro’s and Cons ??
Hi All
After many many years using Roland and Versaworks we’re thinking of going over to an HP 310 or L26500 and using Flexi Pro subscription. Anyone have experience of this type of combination and any pros and cons to the Flexi software.
(We use Illustrator for drawing by the way)
I’ve always thought that when cutting, rather than create individual colour files, as required by Versaworks, it would be good to just import the whole file and select the colours that you want to cut from that one file. Does Flexi allow you to do this ?
We’re also looking at a separate cutter (previously used the Roland for this)
Like I say – we’re completely new to Flexi so any advice appreciated

Bought a new HP Latex & Summa plotter came with the flexi sign / SAI Production Manager. The machines are brilliant quality prints & easier on ink than my old Mimaki & the 60” HP Summa plotter is a real work horse. Flexi sign has been a nightmare from Day 1. SAI have been bluffing since day 1 blaming my PC spec although it was the spec they requested & runs other Flexi fine. 3 PCs later & £2k still doesn’t send data, reads media & stops the printer at random time. So then they blame window 10 so change this & then SAI blame my network so get it independently tested then they just ignore us & bounce me around the place. End result is that I got Onyx installed today by my supplier who is as disgusted as me with Flexi Production Manager & there back up service.
