excellent work paul..
i love that built-up eagle mate.. its got to have been a nightmare to fit on that cladding was it not? 😮as far as i can see the locators are in two sizes.. is this right and if so how did you get locators that size, or should i say where?
would be good to see this job illuminated if you have a picture of that also mate 😉

A few details just in case youre wondering
It spans over 60′ in length
it has over 1 kilometer of wiring in it for the led lighting
red halo lit illumination via LUXEON led emitters
Approx 300 leds inside the lettering and logo
More to come

Excellent work Paul – I remember the design for this in an earlier post 😀
How on Earth do you manage to align all of the components of the eagle? Surely it’s too big for a paper template – so how is this done?
Luckily you’ve had good weather the last few days for installing something like this.

Hi rob
it was childs play to fit it…..really…carefully planned out in the workshop and it went up soooo easy you wouldent believe, we started 1 ish monday afternoon and finished about 9.00 on tuesday evening….no broken tubes to worry about either.
The locators are actually aluminium tube 50mm and 83mm in length fixed into the cladding with RAWLNUTS and SS bolts through the backs
I will post the pics of the illumination later this week….its mind blowing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
