  • Does anyone offer an all in one price for signs?

Right here’s what i’m thinking, Customers come to me for signs and half the time they don’t even know what they want/need or whats available.
Now if i was to come up with an all in one package for lets say – Framed shop sign/tray + pavement sign + projecting hanging sign + window graphics it would take all the guess work away from the customer.
I’d obviously need to work it out regards pricing as sizes would vary but if i can come up with a decent average that would cover everything i think it would be a good way of making sure i maximise a sale and the customer knows exactly what they’re getting from the start.
    Anyone else do something similar?

Why do you need an all in one price to do that though Ewan, I use to have a book/web pages with examples of different types of job & the sort of price the customer could expect to pay, always subject to things like full site survey & actual size as you say these will vary.
Gave the customer a good idea of what most items would cost them, sort of like a mini price it guide that they could look at.
Never took that any further but you could easily do something similar then give a discount if they took say a sign tray & window graphics together. More items they took then the greater the discount.

Problem I see with what you are thinking about is that if people think they have to buy a bundle & only want one sign they might be put off & go else where.

Martin i’m kind of thinking along the lines of someone enquires about a shop sign for instance i can offer them a complete package for a single price as an option. Not thinking about punting it as an ONLY option, more as a one fix for those customers who don’t really know what they want

You should really be doing that anyway Ewan to a degree, I found that you had to tell the customer what services you provided, lost count of the customers I had who after dealing with me for a while said " Oh I didn’t know you did that"

Don’t assume that because you know what you can supply as a signmaker that your customers will as well. Each job will be different but if someone enquires about a shop sign make sure you also mention that as well as a facia sign you can help with window graphics, internal POS, display boards etc. Easy to fit into the conversation without sounding pushy or desperate for work :lol1: :lol1:
