Custom Transit side Mouldings
How easy is it to remove the black side mouldings from the custom transit? I may just trim around if it’s likely to break clips or if the moulding are bonded into place, but if they are easy to remove without damage it would simplify the fitting. The van’s just been dropped off so won’t be doing this till Monday so have all weekend to decide.

Very easy, pull off from the pointy end, make sure the vehicle is reasonably warm as the clips can be brittle when cold, once you’ve done it you’ll wonder why you’ve never done it before!

Hi Phil i would by a set of clips from the dealers as well incase any break always handy to have some in stock i have loads of clips for citreon ones now days i just pull them straight of and break the clips its less hassle trying to figure out which way to pull them of gently as some go in different directions when you remove them
