  • CorelDraw X7 Rasterlink plugin problem – help please?

I have just installed X7 on new PC so thought I would try the Mimaki Finecut plugin as used successfully on X5.

However there are two issues that I can’t seem to correct. There is now a fine rectangle printed around the whole job which doesn’t interfere with cutting but cannot be turned off.

But more importantly, Rasterlink now doesn’t cut duplicates which are printed. ie if you send multiples of a small job to the printer it will only cut the first instance and ignore the rest.

I have updated rasterlink to the latest version and tried various ways to send the duplicates but the result is the same.

Is anyone else using this same combination ie CorelDrawX7/Rasterlink5SG/MimakiCJV30 and managing to print and cut duplicates or is this a known problem?

    Thanks

    Colin

I suppose as a get round would be to create the multiples in corel and send one large file.
I have a problem with corel 13 will not print multiple copies with the Xerox print driver.
Tip from here was to use pdf print

This could be an option for larger decals/stickers but for the smaller ones we need to have smaller areas than the 1370 wide material to ensure the accuracy of cut is maintained. Some of our stickers are just a few mm wide and cut accuracy on files like this needs print areas no bigger than A3 size. Not to mention the several hundred legacy files we have already laid out ready to print.

I have posed the question to Hybrid but as yet await their reply. They hadn’t heard of this problem before – as usual!

I am starting to be concerned that this may be a windows 10 issue and if I get a chance will try the same plugin on my win7 PC to check the results.
